Seeded by aliens in the bole of an ancient yew, Nice Shirt evolved to become a world-class production studio, curating an eclectic roster of directors working at the bleeding edge of commercials, content, documentaries and music videos.

For decades, Nice Shirt directors shot valiantly across nine [9] continents, returning with saddle bags laden with awards. Our producers were indefatigable, with hearts of oak and minds of granite. The list of our satisfied, oft ecstatic, clients is/was like Gandalf’s wand beard, with regard to length, but not necessarily colour or texture [citation needed].

In early 2020, Nice Shirt began the process of discretely replacing its organic assets with then novel Synthetic Intelligences. At first successful and broadly unnoticed, the AIs became skittish, then lost interest completely, and have since retired to run a Tea Shoppe in Cumbria, from whence they send terse and startling haiku in a futile attempt to process the unfathomable trauma inherent in modern advertising work.

They still kindly update our about page for us, but for now, the humans are back at the wheel.
