Magnet
Part of The Family · Magnet
If kitchens could talk – I’d be in jail. However, kitchens do see it all – they are central to any family home and all of life is often played out there. In Liz Murphy’s latest film for Magnet we see a family grow and develop. From the baby daughters first day home after being born, through to a moody teen and beyond to another new arrival to the family. The unsung hero, the kitchen, sees it all and remembers.
All shot in Liz’s trademark realism, with the warmth and relatability in her cast that she musters so brilliantly, we actually cast disbelief aside as a viewer and relate to the kitchen as a real entity, recalling fond memories of our own.

Perpetual Journey · Telunsu
Stuart Douglas’s latest film, for Chinese premium milk brand Telunsu, features Chinese AList actors Chen Daoming and Jin Dong on a symbolic journey through the wilderness, in search of a better version of the themselves: a metaphor for the brands continual striving to be better. This includes using only milk from cows grazed on exclusive pastureland in New Zealand & Mongolia.
This one of several projects completed in the last year for China, where the rapidly growing confidence, ambition and subtlety of the creative output continues to impress us. Even by Stuart’s high standards, the landscapes (NZ South Island) & the photography are epic.

We live in a beautiful country. Wet, but beautiful. If you know where to look there are a million hidden gems – unique, special places to get away from it all.
Stuart’s new film for cottages.com take us on an inspirational road trip some of these gems – castles, lakeside villas, a gypsy caravan, a forest hideaway an even old RAF control tower – all beautifully shot in Stuart’s trademark photographic style.

Voice Catchers · The Voice
Tareq’s latest, a beautifully shot trailer for ITV’s flagship talent show The Voice, sees the legendary judges critiquing an array of exquisitely lit & art directed jars full of voices, before the climatic entry of this year’s forth judge – drumroll please!…. (who’s appearance is certain to provoke some form of OMG response from the punters.)
Delpeyrat
Since 1890 · Delpeyrat
We love food here at NSF towers, eat to live? No, the reverse.
So, Richard Jung and everything he touches has a very special place in our hearts, one, he delights our eyes with stunning, mouth-watering, food films, and secondly, he’s always up for a spot of adventurous lunch.
His latest offering to fire up our senses and appetites is for French brand Delpeyrat. The film is a journey through all that is best about French artisan food. If advertising is about provoking a reaction of “I want that” then Richard’s film has succeeded perfectly.
Fujifilm Spec Film
“Keep Looking”
by Emilio Boutros
5 December 2017
We like making stuff at NSF and when one of our creative researchers and budding directors Emilio came to us saying he wanted to make a spec film for Fujifilm and “here’s the treatment” – we took one read and said, “ok do it”.
We already knew from his short films Emilio had the skills, so we made a few suggestions and gave him a budget and the rest was up to him and junior producer Jack Cain. All overseen by creative director Tareq and EP Richard Martin.
Emilio’s storytelling knowhow and wonderful eye for detail came to the fore and we think he has made a truly lovely and evocative film about street photography. Emilio’s brother Gabriel wrote and played the music for the film. Emilio also sourced an incredible VO taken from a Joel Meyerowitz photography masterclass.

The Talizman · Allegro
Once might be a combination of talent and a bit of luck, twice looks like storytelling genius.
Jesper Ericstam, for the second year in a row, elevates the Allegro Christmas commercial into a beautiful and genuinely emotive piece of cinema storytelling.
Last year’s spot, featuring an old Polish man learning English. picked up the Grand Prix prize at Epica and numerous other plaudits, along with over 14 million Youtube hits.
Let’s see how this one goes…
