Magnet
Part of The Family · Magnet
If kitchens could talk – I’d be in jail. However, kitchens do see it all – they are central to any family home and all of life is often played out there. In Liz Murphy’s latest film for Magnet we see a family grow and develop. From the baby daughters first day home after being born, through to a moody teen and beyond to another new arrival to the family. The unsung hero, the kitchen, sees it all and remembers.
All shot in Liz’s trademark realism, with the warmth and relatability in her cast that she musters so brilliantly, we actually cast disbelief aside as a viewer and relate to the kitchen as a real entity, recalling fond memories of our own.
